Honestly, we all knew that the biggest cast announcements are left for last, and we were right. Netflix today has just introduced the most important cast member for its upcoming live-action adaptation of classic scifi anime Cowboy Bebop—and honestly, I think this is the one role that they got right.

Seriously, what is it with ~old~ anime series getting new seasons or adaptations. This time, it’s the 2013 vampire anime series Strike the Blood. It was announced during the “Dengeki Bunko Aki no Namahoso Festival” last Sunday that the vampire series is set to receive a new original OVA episode, as well as a 4th OVA series.

Since the first half of musical anime Carole & Tuesday dropped on Netflix last August, we bet you’ve already finished binge-watching the show and could have possibly repeatedly watched it as well.

Yours truly was deeply saddened by the end of their favorite yuri manga, Bloom Into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru), but thankfully new announcements for the franchise means that we won’t be seeing the last of our favorite girls yet.
