Yours truly was deeply saddened by the end of their favorite yuri manga, Bloom Into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru), but thankfully new announcements for the franchise means that we won’t be seeing the last of our favorite girls yet.

The official Youtube account of TOHO has just released two teaser trailers for the upcoming Lupin III THE FIRST, the first-ever 3DCG film of the franchise. Check them out here and here. The teasers reveal the story of the film, which revolves around Lupin teaming up with a mysterious woman named Leticia in order to steal the Bresson Diary, a treasure that even the first Arsene Lupin failed to steal.

The official Twitter account of Kadokawa’s CIEL magazine has just announced the three main cast members for the live-action film adaptation of popular boys-love manga Love Stage. Lead character Izumi Sena will be played by Mahiro Sugiyama, pictured below: Popular actor and Izumi’s love interest Ryoma Ichijo will be played by the dreamy Hiroki Nakada: Sena family manager Rei Sagara will be played by Shinichi Wago: The Love Stage.

Anime NYC has just made a big guest announcement: the convention will be hosting none other than the popular and multi-awarded seiyuu and the Tsundere Queen herself, Rie Kugimiya. This will be Kugimiya’s first US appearance.

Old but gold heavy yuri subtext anime series Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is celebrating its 15th anniversary this Tuesday, October 1. For the young ones, Lyrical Nanoha aired the first of its 13 episodes last October 1, 2004.

I know we’re all looking to fill the void left empty by Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which ended its highly-successful first season last week. Successive news over the weekend, however, might tide us over ‘til the next season.

Musical actor and seiyuu Yoshio Inoue (left in picture above) will be voicing the main villain Nine, who is chasing after Tomura Shigaraki.
