Japanese publisher Wani Books has announced that they will be launching a manga adaptation of the popular BL (boys’ love) novel series 2gether by Thai author JittiRain. The manga adaptation will be illustrated by Hiromasa Okujima, who has also worked on other BL titles such as Bad Boys, Happy Home (Dousei Yankee Akamatsu Seven).

Two new guest cast members were announced this Wednesday for the upcoming Stand By Me Doraemon 2 CG film. They are: Comedian Bakarhythm, (real name Hidetomo Masuno) who will voice Nakameguro, a salesman for the Future Department Store that sends Doraemon gadgets from the future.

Heads up for those waiting for an official English dub of the latest season of SAO. Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block has announced that the English-dubbed Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of the Underworld Part 2 is set for a November 7 premiere, at 12:30 AM EST (effectively November 8).

The blockbuster hit maker himself has spoken. Wildly popular and critically acclaimed director Makoto Shinkai, whose 2016 film your name (Kimi no Na wa) is the highest-grossing anime film of all time worldwide, recently commented about the smashing success of Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train.

A new version of the first promo video for the TV anime adaptation of Daisuke Hagiwara’s fan-favorite romantic comedy manga Horimiya has revealed more cast members. As always, the Youtube link to the video is restricted to Japan, so you can watch it instead in the series’ official Twitter here.

Good news to Wotakoi fans, as we’ll be getting new animated content for the series soon. The official website of the anime adaptation of Fujita’s Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku (Otaku ni Koi Wa Muzukasshi) has announced that the new OVA (original video animation) episode is set for a February 26, 2021 release.

A fun two-minute opening movie was just released on the official Youtube channel of Bushiroad’s newest mixed-media project D4DJ. The release of the OP movie serves as promotion for the upcoming TV anime series of the franchise, entitled D4DJ First Mix.

A new trailer was recently revealed for the second and last anime film adaptation of the Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet spinoff novels. Check out the trailer here. Besides the reveal of a new trailer, the franchise’s website also announced that solo singer RinamooN will perform the movie’s ending theme song Precious.

The Demon Slayer movie is literally slaying all other films in Japan—past and present—as Japanese media reports that the franchise’s first film, Mugen Train, earns over 1,268,724,700 yen (about USD 12 million) in just its opening day alone.

Hopefully no more delays for the first of two Sailor Moon Eternal anime films, as the franchise rolls out more updates. First is a new trailer for the film, which now includes the four Inner Senshis as well as a sneak peek of Helios (in human form).
