The parody series “Pop Team Epic” is now entering the world of smartphone gaming with a newly released gacha game. Titled as “Takeshobo Quest: Pop Team Epic Assaults”, it is a self-described "crappy app" that is available for Android and iOS smartphones.

On November 15th 2018, frequent anime convention vendor Lemonbrat - makers of fursuits and hoodies - filed a lawsuit in Cook County against a former employee, Corey Wood. Corey Wood is also the convention chair of Anime Milwaukee and has been reported to operate a company called "Corgi Events", which appears to have ties to DenFur and Painted Desert Fur Con as well.

The “Pastel Memories” smartphone game will be gaining a short mini-series manga adaptation by Kairaku Kano this December. Announced on the official website for Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine, the manga will be released in the magazine's February 2019 issue on December 27.

It was announced on Tuesday by popular streaming platform Netflix that they will be producing a 10-episode live-action adaptation series of the popular Cowboy Bebop anime. Christopher Yost (who was screenwriter for Marvel films Thor: The Dark World and Thor:Ragnarok) is confirmed to be writing the series’ first episode.

Izuku “Deku” Midoriya maybe one of the most awesome anime characters we seen so far, but it seems that his popularity dropped in the recent My Hero Academia poll that was published in this week’s release of the Weekly Shonen Jump.

It was announced on Eleven Arts’ official Facebook page last weekend that the successful film adaptation of Yoshitoki Oima’s manga A Silent Voice will be screen again in selected theaters January. Eleven Arts screened the film for the first time in October 2017 followed in another screen run in February 2018 in English dub.

The Campfire crowdfunding campaign for the Spice & Wolf VR anime was launched on Sunday by independent development circle Spicy Tails. Although the kickstarter campaign runs until January 12, it has already reached its goal of 8,000,000 yen (around $70,700 USD) in just two hours.

Game company and publisher Square Enix recently trademarked the game series Paradise Eve in Europe hinting a possibility that the series may return with a new game. The Parasite Eve series started in 1998 and was first released for the Sony PlayStation.
