And another Final Fantasy news from the folks at Square Enix today: the beloved, long-pined-for, and the forgotten child of the FF franchise, Final Fantasy VIII is finally getting a remaster. E3 has just ended, and with it we get an AVALANCHE (pun intended.) of news about the much-awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake. Without further ado, check out the trailer below—and get ready to watch it again and again: Besides this longer and better trailer (because Tifa is in it), Square Enix also revealed a gameplay demo walkthrough for FFVII Remake.

Yes folks, you read that right—just when we thought that it’ll take some more years for the FFVII remake, we get the official announcement that the game is already set for a March 3, 2020 worldwide release.

It was previously reported on this site that Sato’s yuri manga Fragtime is set to get an anime adaptation. Just today it was revealed that the adaptation the manga will be getting is actually a theatrical OVA.

Sad news for avid players of smartphone game : the game’s developer and publisher, FuRyu, just announced in the game’s official Twitter account that the game will be ending service on August 6, 3PM JST.

If you’re attendance at Anime Expo Los Angeles is still unsure, well this might seal the deal: the official website of the Sailor Moon franchise has announced that the editor of the Sailor Moon manga, Fumio Osano (also known fondly by fans and Naoko Takeuchi herself as Osabu and Osa-P), will be a special guest at Anime Expo this year.

It certainly is a tough job being a hero, so we really can’t blame the characters from My Hero Academia wanting to catch a break to, erm, dust off their clothes and just be cute. And there’s no more perfect opportunity for that than a collaboration with the adorable characters from Sanrio.
