If yesterday was Square Enix at E3, today it’s Nintendo’s turn to deliver good news to gamers all over the world. The most-talked about of all their announcements at E3 was a surprise reveal of the teaser trailer for the sequel of the hit 2017 game, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

And another Final Fantasy news from the folks at Square Enix today: the beloved, long-pined-for, and the forgotten child of the FF franchise, Final Fantasy VIII is finally getting a remaster. Check out the trailer below: This comes as good news to most Final Fantasy fans, especially to the completionists of the franchise.

E3 has just ended, and with it we get an AVALANCHE (pun intended.) of news about the much-awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake. Without further ado, check out the trailer below—and get ready to watch it again and again: Besides this longer and better trailer (because Tifa is in it), Square Enix also revealed a gameplay demo walkthrough for FFVII Remake.

Yes folks, you read that right—just when we thought that it’ll take some more years for the FFVII remake, we get the official announcement that the game is already set for a March 3, 2020 worldwide release.

It was previously reported on this site that Sato’s yuri manga Fragtime is set to get an anime adaptation. Just today it was revealed that the adaptation the manga will be getting is actually a theatrical OVA.

Sad news for avid players of smartphone game : the game’s developer and publisher, FuRyu, just announced in the game’s official Twitter account that the game will be ending service on August 6, 3PM JST.

After weeks of teasers and sneap peeks, we finally get a significant look at Persona 5 The Royal’s new female character, Kasumi Yoshizawa. Just this week Atlus revealed a trailer that finally shows Kasumi in action, along with her persona Cendrillon (who is based on the fairy tale character Cinderella).

Attention Sailor Moon fans in the US. If you’re attendance at Anime Expo Los Angeles is still unsure, well this might seal the deal: the official website of the Sailor Moon franchise has announced that the editor of the Sailor Moon manga, Fumio Osano (also known fondly by fans and Naoko Takeuchi herself as Osabu and Osa-P), will be a special guest at Anime Expo this year.

It certainly is a tough job being a hero, so we really can’t blame the characters from My Hero Academia wanting to catch a break to, erm, dust off their clothes and just be cute. And there’s no more perfect opportunity for that than a collaboration with the adorable characters from Sanrio.

Some unexpected good news for all Dragon Ball fans out there: an interview with Shueisha’s Dragon Ball Unit director Akio Iyoku is currently making the rounds in the internet in which he says that preparations for the next Dragon Ball Super movie are already underway.
