You Can Now Stream These Awesome Anime Movies on FunimationNOW!

Funimation has added four awesome films into its library this week. In a report by Anime News Network on Thursday, all four films will be available for both original Japanese language with subtitles as well as in English dubs. The following titles are:

Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie

The movie first premiered in Japan in 2015 and is directed by Kazuya Nomura. This is a continuation of the Ghost in the Shell: Arise story arc. The film is produced by the popular Japanese animation studio, Production I.G. and this was their first feature since Ghost in the Shell SAC: Solid State Society back in 2006.

Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence

A sequel to the hit 1995 anime movie Ghost in the Shell, Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence first premiered in Japan in March 6, 2004. This was produced by Production I.G. and Studio Ghibli. The film premiered in the United States on September 17 in the same year.

Psycho-Pass

The film is based on the popular Psycho-Pass anime series. It first premiered in Japan on January 9, 2015. It had a limited theater run in the United States on March 15 to 16, 2016. It involves the appearance of terrorists in Japan and stars the anime’s main characters like Akane Tsunemori, Shinya Kogami, Nobuchika Ginoza, and Mika Shimotsuki to name a few.

Steins;Gate – The Movie – Load Region of Déjà Vu

Based the popular Visual Novel, Steins;Gate – The Movie – Load Region of Déjà Vu is a follow-up of the game’s 2011 anime adaptation. The film premiered in Japan on April 20, 2013 which was then followed with an official BD/DVD release on December 13, 2013. Funimation licensed the movie for North America and was released in English in March 2017.
