If you guys are still catching up on the popular anime like Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia, you might have to wait as the popular anime streaming site Crunchyroll has pulled the first season episodes of the mentioned anime series from its library. In a report by Anime News Network, Crunchyroll said that the company is still “working through the rights of season 1 for titles and will share any additional details soon.”
Both Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia were among the few Funimation-licensed anime series available on the site. Last November, both Funimation and Crunchyroll officially ended their share content partnership.
Attack on Titan began as a manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. It was released in September 2009 and is serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine. As of August, the series has 26 volumes released and is still running. The first anime adaptation of the series aired between April and September 2013 and had a total of 25 episodes.
My Hero Academia was first published in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014 which has then expanded into an anime series for a total of three seasons. The official website of the My Hero Academia anime announced previously that its fourth season will premiere in October 2019. It first visual was also released with the tagline that says “I’ll become your hero!”
