‘Attack on Titan’ Season 3, Part 2 to Premiere on April 28

The 2nd part of Attack on Titan season 3 is slated to air in Japan on April 28. According the anime’s official website, the anime will be aired for a total of 10 episodes. All these information were released in a trailer posted by Pony Canyon on Saturday.

Chief director Tetsuro Araki, director Masahi Koizuka, script supervisor Yasuko Kobayashi, assistant director Hiroyuki Tanaka, character designer Kyoji Asano, chief animation directors Satoshi Kadowaki and Kyoji Asano, and composer Hiyoruki Sawano among others from the staff of Wit Studio will return to work on this production.

Attack on Titan is a popular manga series created by Hajime Isayama that was first published in 2009 in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. The manga has released 28 compiled volumes so far and has sold 86 million copies in print.

The anime adaptation of this poplar manga series began in 2013. Season 2 aired in April 2017 and part 1 of Season 3 aired on July 2018. It was confirmed last year that the manga will a Hollywood film adaptation by Warner Bros. Although there is still no confirmed date for the released, Any Muchietti, the director of the Hollywood film It is also confirmed to be the director for the film.

Attack on Titan follows the adventures of Eren Jaeger in the military Survey Corps to fight off the Titans that eat off humans as well as finding out their secrets of these creatures as well as his past.
