The popular Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito will be one of the guests in this year’s Crunchyroll Expo. The mentioned convention will be happening at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in California from August 30 until September 1.
Ito’s notable works are Tomie and Uzumaki in which both have live action adaptations. Some of his works are already published and released in English such has Smashed: Junji Ito Story Collection, Frankenstein: Junji Ito Story Collection, and Fragments of Horror. All mentioned titles are published under VIZ Media. His other manga works were also published under different publishers in the West such as Museum of Terror (Dark Horse Comics), Flesh Colored Horror (ComicsOne), and Junji Ito’s Cat Diary: Yon & Mu (Kodansha Comics).
His most recent work was the manga adaptation of the classic novel No Longer Human (Ningen Shikkaku) by Osamu Dazai. It launched in May 2017 then ended in April last year.
