For this summer’s “Cool Japan” event, it will be featuring globally famous heroes of anime and Japanese film and Universal Studios Japan has more to reveal on it.
Among the line-up for the event are “Sailor Moon”, “Godzilla”, “Evangelion”, and “Attack on Titan.” The returning favorite joining the ranks is “Detective Conan,” a franchise that has been featured at the park with USJ attractions and will now have upgraded experiences. Prior to this, it was announced that “Lupin III” was joining the event.
It was revealed at the time that there would be a Lupin III-themed VR ride and eatery. Initially, the eatery was described as an"entertainment restaurant" that would have a mix of comedy and “hard-boiled charm.” Now the restaurant is confirmed as “Lupin’s Ristorante Amore” and will be having a themed menu. With the VR ride, it is named “Lupin III Car Chase XR,” and will put park-goers in the passenger’s seat of the famous yellow Fiat as the Lupin Gang defies gravity to escape from Inspector Zenigata.
As for the Detective Conan World, there will be a three-attraction set consisting of a stage show and Real Escape Game, a mystery game suitable for parents and children to solve together. In addition, there will be a themed restaurant where park goers can order from a themed menu and watch a murder mystery unfold.
