Naruto/Boruto Attraction to Open in ‘Nijigen no Mori’ Theme Park In April!

For Naruto and Boruto fans going to Japan next year, you’re in for a treat as an attraction based from the two popular franchises will happening in the Nijigen no Mori (2D Forest) Theme Park in April! The theme park is located in the Prefectural Awajishima Park in Hyogo Prefecture.

The attraction is named NARUTO & BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO" and will recreate the franchise’s popular locations such as the Hidden Leaf Village and Hokage Rock. Ten life-size statues of the characters from the series will also be in the area. Various shops will also be present selling different merchandise. A restaurant inspired by the series’ Ramen Ichiraku shop will also be established.

The entire attraction is divided into two main sections: the Naruto-themed athletic section and a Boruto-themed mazed section. “Chi no Maki” (Earth Scroll) is the athletic section where tourists can perform different activities in order to find the “Pieces of the Seal”. In the “Ten no Maki” (Heaven Scroll) maze, you will have the opportunity to go to the Ninja Academy course and find your way using both mind and body.

During the Jump Festa 2019 event at the Makuhari Messe venue in Chiba on December 22 and 23, a booth dedicated to the information of this upcoming attraction will be present and will feature a model mockup of the attraction.

Naruto is a popular franchise based from the manga of the same name created by Musashi Kishimoto in 1999. It ended in November 2014. It expanded to multiple anime series, OVA, and anime film. The sequel manga Boruto is created by Ukyo Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto and was released in the Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016. Like Naruto, it has expanded into an ongoing anime series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
