New Visuals and Details are Unveiled for the PSYCHO-PASS: Sinners of the System Film Trilogy

The upcoming “PSYCHO-PASS: Sinners of the System” anime film trilogy now has its official movie posters, the main staff, and the main cast fully listed.

Set to be released sequentially in Japanese theaters in the Winter and Spring seasons of 2019, there will be different staff for each film but the credit for the “Sinners of the System” (SS) original story goes to Naoyoshi Shiotani. Credit also goes to Gen Urobuchi and Akira Amano for the original series planning and character design respectively.

The films will be produced by Production I.G. and distributed by TOHO Visual Entertainment. A feature of the film is that it will be having 3D. For the first and third film, it will be produced by Sublimation while the second film will have its 3D work done by I.G3D.

The following staff members will be working on all three films:

For the first film, it is titled ‘PSYCHO-PASS: Sinners of the System Case .1 “Sin and Punishment”’ and is set to premiere on January 25, 2019, in Japan. Acting as chief animation director for the film is Satoru Nakamura. And with him, as animation directors are Ryota Niino, Ryōta Furukawa, Shunji Suzuki, Fumi Morita, Satoru Nakamura, and Tetsurō Moronuki.

Ryō Yoshigami will be working on the film’s screenplay. Working on the character designs for the film are Naoyuki Onda, Kyōji Asano, and Hisashi Abe. Other staff members for the film is technical director Tomoyuki Kurokawa and Yasuhiro Geshi

The second film, ‘PSYCHO-PASS: Sinners of the System Case .2 “First Guardian”’, will be making its debut in Japanese theaters on February 15, 2019. For this film, Hisashi Abe will be acting as chief animation director while Satoru Nakamura, Ryōta Furukawa, Hisashi Abe, and Tetsurō Moronuki will be acting as animation directors. Working on the screenplay is Makoto Fukami. As for the character designs, Naoyuki Onda, Kyoji Asano, and Yasuhiro Aoki will be working on them. Last but not least working technical direction is Yasuhiro Geshi.

The main cast for ‘PSYCHO-PASS: Sinners of the System Case .2 “First Guardian”’ includes:

The last film of the trilogy, ‘PSYCHO-PASS: Sinners of the System Case .3 “Beyond Love and Hate…”’, hits Japanese theaters on March 08, 2019. With the third film, it will be having three chief animation directors comprised of Naoyuki Onda, Hisashi Abe, and Satoru Nakamura. As for the animation directors, they include Miyuki Nakamura, Ryōta Furukawa, Chikai Takeuchi, Hisaki Furukawa, Miho Ichikawa, Kazuchika Kise, Hisashi Abe, Tetsurō Moronuki, Ryota Niino, and Satoru Nakamura.

Taking charge of the screenplay is Makoto Fukami. And working on the character designs are Naoyuki Onda, Kyoji Asano, and Hisashi Abe. Acting as technical directors are Toshiyuki Kono and Hirotaka Endo
