The upcoming “Anima Yell!” anime has six more cast members revealed. Prior to this, the anime had other cast members listed and had confirmed an October 7 debut.
Based on the manga of the same name by Tsukasa Unohana, the anime will be directed by Masako Sato, who majorly worked on key animations and will feature animation production by Doga Kobo. Taking charge of the series composition is Fumihiko Shimo, who worked on the “Amagi Brilliant Park” and “Golden Time” series. Manamu Amasaki, the animation director behind “Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home”, will be acting as the character designer of the series.

The story of “Anima Yell!” takes focus on a young woman named Kohane Hatoya. Described as someone who loves helping others, she finds herself becoming fascinated with cheerleading after moving from middle school to high school. Upon entering into high school, she makes the decision to start a cheerleading club. Joining Kohane in her cheerleading activities is the experienced Hizume and Kohane’s childhood friend Uki.

Nao Natsuno as Kateikabu Bucho (“Home Economics Club Chief”).
Aimi Tanaka as Akane Sawatari.

“Anima Yell!” was first released as a four-panel manga series by Tsukasa Unohana. It was in April 2016 that the series was released in Houbunsha’s seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat. The series is currently running with three volumes released.
