The “GeGeGe no Kitarō” anime is having a new ending theme and it is titled “Mien Keredomo, Orun da yo”/“I Can’t See Them But They’re There.” It was just announced on the series’ official website that it will be performed by Kiyoshi Hikawa.
The ending will be played in the anime’s “Western Yōkai Arc”/“Seiyō Yōkai-hen” arc which is to release on October 7. Currently, Hikawa is performing the series’ classic opening theme song “Gegege no Kitarō.” As for the ending theme song “Get A Note” (pronounced “Geta no Oto,” which translates to “The Sound of Geta Footwear”), it is performed by Rekishi, musician Takafumi Ikeda’s “solo unit.”
With the new arc, it will be featuring a tale involving the "Ring of Arcana,” a Western yōkai world’s treasure which ends up being stolen by a witch named Agnes. As she makes her escape, Agnes is pursued by the Western yōkai’s strongest emperor, Backbeard, and its followers. Upon reaching Japan, she encounters Kitarō, and asks for his help.
The 2018 “Gegege no Kitarou” anime made its debut on April 1 was produced by Fuji TV, Yomiuri Advertising, and Toei Animation. Directing the series is Kouji Ogawa, who worked on the “Precure All Stars New Stage 2: Kokoro no Tomodachi” film. Hiroshi Ohnogi, a writer known to have worked on the “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood” series, handled the series composition. As for the character designs, that role was taken on by Sorato Shimizu who is also acting as chief animation director. With the music, it is composed by Yasuharu Takanashi and yaiba

“Gegege no Kitarou” (2018) sets during the modern era where people have just about forgotten the existence of youkai. However, while they may have forgotten, that does not mean that supernatural phenomena do not occur.
While the people panic and try to explain these events, there are those who have not lost their belief. One of them is a young boy who implores his neighbor Mana Inuyama to send a letter to Kitarou for help. While Mana initially doesn’t believe in youkai, she soon finds herself entangled in their world.
