Gameplay Preview Video of ‘Yu Yu Hakusho’ Smartphone Game Released!

If you missed the nostalgic anime franchise Yu Yu Hakusho, get hyped as it is getting a new smartphone game slated to be released this year.

The game title is Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle (100% Serious Battle) and this is developed by KLab Games and Axel Game Studios.

The game reunites not only the characters but also some of its original voice actors in the anime like Nobuyuki Hiyama as Hiei, Megumi Ogata as Kurama, and Shigeru Chiba as Kuwabara, and Nozomu Sasaki as Yusuke.

Based on the information revealed by KLab last year, the smartphone game will feature the super-deformed versions of the characters as well as the option for players to create their own “dream team” for 5-vs-5 battles. The game will be available for both Android and iOS.

The Yu Yu Hakusho anime celebrated its 20th anniversary. Based on the manga series of the same name by Yoshihiro Togashi, the manga has released a total of 19 volumes and other adaptations like two anime films and two OVAs (Original Video Animation). The anime adaptation originally aired in Japan from 1992 to 1995 and was later being aired to other parts of the world.
