It was announced on Tuesday by ANiUTa Co., Ltd. that they will be launching the world’s first anime song streaming service for the United States on August 1. In their press release, it was revealed that over 10,000 songs will be available on the site for streaming upon launch.
This venture was made possible by various companies and music labels in Japan. It was launched in Japan in March 2017 and was originally slated to have an international service around late 2017.
U.S. fans of Japanese music will be able to enjoy streaming their favorite songs for only 4.99 USD per month. The monthly price may change due to the exchange rate fluctuations and the pricing thresholds of both Google Play and App Store. You can store as much as 1,000 songs in the library and stream the full song at 320 kbps.
Those who are not on paid subscription will still be able to search songs but will only listen to the 30-second samples of the songs, show lyrics, and a 20-song library limit.
