Over the past few years up to this point, millions of viewers hastily looked for new ways to entertain themselves.
“The Royal Tutor” anime is announced to have a new project to be revealed on September 18. Along with the announcement by the special LINE LIVE streaming program held on Wednesday, a post has been made by the anime’s official website as well.
The post was a countdown with a visual of the series’ five main characters and the text “Well, let’s begin. The next lesson—.” It was also noted on the website that September 18 would mark the one-year anniversary since the franchise’s stage musical debuted.
“The Royal Tutor” otherwise known as “Ōshitsu Kyōshi Haine” is a series that began as a 2013 a Japanese manga series by Higasa Akai. Serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine, the series is currently running with ten volumes released so far. The anime adaptation of the series was released by Bridge in April 2017. The series ran for a total of 12 episodes before ending in June 2017.
It was directed by Katsuya Kikuchi who worked on “idol Memories” and had its composition done by Kimiko Ueno. Taking charge of the character design was Rena Okuyama, the designer behind the “Sengoku Night Blood” characters. Keiji Inai, the composer for “Outbreak Company” worked on the series music at Avex Pictures.
The opening theme of the series was “Salty Tears” performed by Shōgo Sakamoto. As for the ending theme, it was “Prince Night~Doko ni Itanosa!? MY PRINCESS~” by P4 with T.

As for the story, it’s as follows:
In the kingdom of Grannzreich, the position of Royal Tutor is one of high regard, a position for which one Heine Wittgenstein has attained under the king’s invitation no less. Both charming yet stern, Heine holds a great intelligence and command for respect even with his lack in stature. Now he holds the responsibility of grooming the young heirs to the throne. The problem? None of the princes seem to even want for Royal Tutor and with the rumors surrounding them, teaching them may prove difficult but nonetheless, Heine is willing to take the challenge.
