New ‘Beyblade Burst’ Mobile Game to Release This Fall

It was announced on Wednesday by Sunrights Inc. that they signed a licensing agreement to have a Beyblade Burst mobile game in development. With a tentative title Beyblade Burst Rivals, it is slated to be released this fall for South America, North America, New Zealand, and Australia.

Sunrights Inc. released a description of the game and what players can expect upon its release:

The new BEYBLADE BURST RIVALS app will allow each gamer to choose their favorite character and follow them on their quest to become a Master Blader as they enter BEYBLADE BURST tournaments, use rare and powerful Beys and participate in epic battles. Players can collect an arsenal of Beys and upgrade them, unlocking special Bey techniques that provide a decisive edge for the ultimate battle. The key is to use strategy to defeat opponents and strive for Ring Out Finishes, Survivor Finishes, and epic Burst Finishes. Do you have what it takes to become the best Blader in the world? Grab your Bey and LET IT RIP!

While this new mobile game is in development, a new Beyblade game titled Beyblade Burst Battle Zero will be released for the Nintendo Switch on October 25 in Japan for both physical and digital versions. FuRyu opened a teaser website about the game recently.

Those who will purchase the physical copies of the game (cost at 6,980 yen) will have an exclusive Beyblade included as a bundle. The digital version is cost at 6,280 yen.

The Beyblade Burst game was released by FuRyu for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan back in November 2016 which was then followed by Beyblade Burst God for the Nintendo 3DS in November 2017.

The latest anime of the Beyblade franchise titled Beyblade Burst Chozetsu premiered in the Japanese channel TV Tokyo on April 2.
