The latest installment of the “Cutie Honey Universe” series has just had its fourth episode released and now new cast/characters have been revealed for the work.
Prior to the reveal, a confirmation had already been made on who the five Honeys and voice cast were. However, there was no confirmation on who would play what role. Now a full list has been posted on the official website of the series with visuals included.
Playing the role of Hurricane Honey is Maaya Uchida, the voice behind Hiyori Iki in “Noragami” and Chisato Mera in “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.”
Yukari Tamura, who is known to have played a role in “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha” as Nanoha Takamachi and “Naruto” as Tenten, voices as Misty Honey.
Voicing as Flash Honey is Tomoyo Kurosawa, who is currently playing a role in the fantasy series, “Hisone to Masotan” as Nao Kaizaki.
Kana Hanazawa, the voice actress behind Anri Sonohara in “Durarara!!” takes the role of Idol Honey.
Last but not least, Suzuko Mimori, who played as Nanami Momozono in “Kamisama Kiss”, voices as Fancy Honey.
The anime had made its debut on April 8, and as stated, has recently released its fourth episode. Created in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Go Nagai’s works, the series follows the adventures of an amazingly humanlike and fashion conscious android named Honey Kisaragi.
She has the unique ability to transform her body into a wide range of outrageous yet stylish disguises which hold different powers. With this ability, she battles against the sinister secret criminal cabal organization, Panther Claw.
The opening theme for the series “Ai ga Nakucha Tatakaenai” a.k.a. “I Can’t Fight Without Love: is performed by idol unit AŌP. As for the ending song, it is titled “SISTER” and is performed by artist luz.
