A Phone Number is Released for a Case Closed Campaign

Fans will now have a chance in being close with the series as interactive programs and events are revealed in advance to the next Detective Conan film, “Zero the Enforcer”

Now fans have a chance to learn more about the film as the phone number of agent Rei Furuya himself has been released on Twitter.  The number, which is 0180-991-413, is a part of a new “SECRET MISSION” campaign for fans. With this number, fans can contact Rei for the plot of the film and possibly receive different messages. There are other messages which include  an innocuous recording of Rei talking about his current case, but others may get a little more inside intel.

For those who are unfamiliar with the character, Rei Furuya is a National Police Agency Security Bureau Security Planning, Chiyoda Division agent. He is also an undercover agent for the Black Organization who made his first appearance in File 793 of the manga and episode 667 of the anime. Recently he has become a dispatched operative who specializes in deduction and intelligence gathering and frequently works with Vermouth.

In regards to the “SECRET MISSION” campaign, there are three activities listed on its official website. The reveal of Rei’s number is the first event for the campaign and is named as  "Secret Amuro Call." The following event is “Ran-chan Datte JK,” which focusing on Ran Mouri, and lastly the Conan-centric “Miraculous 1-Day Police Chief.”

“Zero the Enforcer”will be making its debut on April 13 in Japan. The story for the film begins with a sudden explosion at Tokyo Summit’s giant Edge of Ocean facility where Zero makes his appearance. He holds the identity of Tōru Amuro, who works for the National Police Agency Security Bureau and is in actuality  a detective named Rei Furuya, the apprentice of Kogorō Mōri and as a Black Organization member named Bourbon.

When Kogorō is arrested as a suspect in the case of the explosion, Conan takes it upon himself to prove Kogorō’s innocence, but things may be more difficult as Amuro becomes his obstacle in the case.

Directing the 22nd film of the franchise is Yuzuru Tachikawa, with him as the writer for the film is Takeharu Sakurai while Katsuo Ono will be working on the music.

Two new cast/characters for the film are Aya Ueto as Kyouka Tachibana and Daikichi Hakata  as a deceased judicial intern and former colleague of Tachibana who worked with him in the same law firm.
