Are you excited for the upcoming My Hero Academia Season 3? The 11th issue of this year’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine confirmed on Saturday of three new additional cast members to make their debut in the show.
The following additional characters are the following: Kiyotaka Furushima as Mustard, whose quirk is “Sleep Gas”, Shuhei Matsuda as Moonfish, whose quirk is “Tooth Blade”, and Kousuke Takaguchi as Muscular, whose quirk is “Muscle Augment”. The three members of the League of Villains.
Get your quirks ready as the third season will kick-off officially in Japan on April 7. Funimation has confirmed to be streaming the series for the west.
The announcement of the third season was confirmed during the “My Hero Academia: U.A. School [Heroes’ Cultural] Festival” event and will cover the forest school trip arc same as the manga.
The anime is based from the manga series of the same name created by Kohei Horikoshi. It was first published in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014 with 16 compiled volumes released so far.
Aside from the announcement of the new season, the franchise’s anime film titled My Hero Academia THE MOVIE will premiere this summer.
