Main Cast Announced for 12th ‘Yowamushi Pedal’ Stage Play

Wataru Watanabe’s popular work Yowamushi Pedal is getting another stage play adaptation slated to run from March 2 to 11 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater in Tokyo, and from March 16-18 in Shin Kobe Theater in Kobe. This is 12th stage play under the franchise. The upcoming stage play is titled: Yowamushi Pedal Shin Interhigh-hen _{Hakone Gakuen Ōja Fukukaku (The Kingdom)} (Stage Yowamushi Pedal New Interhigh Arc: Restoration of Hakone Gakuen’s King [The Kingdom]).

A second round of cast announcements were revealed on Friday on its official website on Friday while the first round of cast members were announced on January 11.

This new play will still be directed and written by Shatner Nishida with music composed by manzo.

Its last stage play titled Shin Interhigh-hen Heat Up ran from October 19 to 23 in Tokyo, and October 26 to 29 in Osaka.

The Yowamushi Pedal manga was first released in Weekly Shonen Champion in 2008. It was the later adapted into three anime series, one anime film, and three compilation films. The anime’s fourth season premiered on January 8.
