On a different note, the pre-registration for the second game of the franchise, “Mitchiri Neko Bubble” is open and has no further details revealed. What is known is that the game is that it is a simple bubble-shooting bubble game involving a theme of the characters.

In addition to the new smartphone game there is also a new manga adaptation for the franchise. Launched on October 3 in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine, Frencel and G-angle are credited for the work.

“Mitchiri Neko” first began as a four-panel manga on the Famitsu.com website. It was released in 2012 and at one point of its run, was moved to the Famitsu app and had gained a manga adaptation that is currently running on DeNA’s Manga Box app.

The manga resulted in “Mitchiri Neko Mix”, an iPhone and Android game released on December 18, 2013, under the publication of DC-Archives. The point of the game was to raise and create creatures known as “Micking Cat” and discover the different variations of them by mixing different bottles.

“Mitchiri Neko” are actually known as cats who seem to multiply when left alone as the official Youtube of the franchise explains that the definition of the name essentially means “sticking together” or packed and “cat”, basically a packed cat so to speak. They have the ability to speak and mimic human behaviour and for the franchise there are a variety of cat characters who have distinct personalities.
