Synopsis
This is the story of a simple country girl that moves to the city in following her Grandmother’s last wish. However she discovers that she is in fact sent ot live with three boys in a share house. It’s a love story that starts with a warm meal.
The Good
Like with any good shoujo work, the art design is highly adorable with an effective use of tones and softness, but with this work, the highlight over the expressions of the characters gives an added touch to the work. While the main character seems like the usual naive country girl at first, the main thing that makes her stand out so much is the fact that she has a semblance of sense. In addition to, the mae characters are also not the usual types that you wold find in this kind of scenario so that is another plus. Basically the entire concept of the series so far with both the male and female leads mixed with the plot makes for a whole lot of potential for the manga.
The Bad
While the female protagonist has a different aspect to her, it doesn’t change the fact that there is a lot of points to her which makes her as rather cliche in the end. Then there is the factor of coincidences of them meeting and her living with them to consider. For the most part, I would personally say, “eh” on the negative portions of the manga given that there are only two chapters, but to be honest it is pretty much a generic shoujo more than anything. If one were to be really nitpickey, it would have been nice if the second male was given more other than the exposition role and had that one suggestive scene.
Conclusion
Overall, the story holds a cute premise over it though there isn’t all that much different from a usual shoujo manga involving a sweet country girl moving to the city other than the way the male characters are. It’s not say its bad, rather its one of the main points of the manga that make it so interesting. We get so many of the cool, mysterious or even angry type of males in this type of stories that has Yuzu’s character type and story. For the most part, it has its cliche moments but it also holds a lot of potential to it.
