Top 5 New/Interesting Manga to Check Out this Week

There may be a lot of new anime seasons and series that will be coming out in the following season but that doesn’t there aren’t any good manga to check out and enjoy while waiting for their release. From comedy to slice of life and a few action works too, there are a lot of manga that are released and updated each week and it’s a lot to choose from. Here are some suggestion on some fun little works you check out for the week.

5. Machida-kun no Sekai

This is the story of high school boy named Machida-kun. A perfect brother, son and student who is willing to help anyone, he is pretty much admired by all he meets. But as helpful and kind as he is, he also easily puts himself down when he feels himself to be a failure. This is the story of a kind boy who doesn’t show much expressions, is easily negative but is given love by many.

4. Hayachine!

Here a family story that sets itself in the simple countryside of Ohasama. Three siblings, Seiji, Kozue, and Shima, after having lost their parents are taken in by their uncle in the countryside. Will they be able to adapt to their new lives as they meet new people and face a completely different environment? This is a cute little slice of life on family and friendship

3. S Suto na Fujiwara-kun

Ever thought of something only for to end up saying it completely the wrong way? Well this is the story of young man who goes through this in a rather extreme way. Being the son of a #1 host, Fujiwara-kun has been taught to never be played by a woman. In result of his father’s teachings, he is unable to say anything nice to a girl to the point of it being verbal abuse. With such a habit, communicating with girls has become no easy feat. But then one girl seems to look past his habit, is there hope for him yet?

2. Maou no Hisho

There have been all kinds of stories about a powerful Demon King awakening and chaos rising with him, but how about a story that gives a comedic twist to this idea? The premise is the same but for this Demon King, he decides that in order to further his plans of conquering the world, he needs to kidnap a human, in short, he needed to kidnap a secretary. And kidnap a secretary he does, but she is no ordinary secretary, no, she is an unafraid secretary that does her work promptly and with unimaginable skill. Because of this, she may be the prime reason that the world will be in danger faster than it should.

1. Shinobi Quartet

Looking for a shoujo with something a little different? How about a shoujo that not only has a possible reverse harem but involves ninjas? This is the story of Chouko Manaka, the heir to a prestigious family. As she enters into high school she has grown so frustrated with being surrounded by bodyguards and being unable to make friends that she insists that she have no more bodyguards to her father.

He agrees to let go of the bodyguards but still worries and thus sends her to Mizuno-o High School where students are studying to be shinobi and gives her the condition that if she finds a right-hand man by graduation, he will consider giving her independence. On her first day of school however, she meets the son of her butler and is surprised when he declares that he wants her to be his master.
