New Cast Details are Out for the Upcoming "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" 4th Episode

The anime sequel project for sci-fi work “Uchū Senkan Yamato 2202: Ai no Senshi-tachi” a.k.a. “Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love” or “Star Blazers 2202: Warriors of Love” now has additional details released for its fourth chapter film. Posted on its official website, there is a new PV, visual as well as new cast and character visuals as well.

Other than new film details, it has also been revealed by the staff that the amount of teaters to screen the film has increased from 25 to 29 nationwide. The film is set to be released on January 27, 2018, but for fans who wish to get an early start, there will be an advanced ticket sales to take place on November 18, 2017.

Tickets are prices at 1,500 but for those who would like to receive a poster of the Yamato ship with their ticket, do so at an additional 100 yen. However, there are a limited amount of posters available so fans need to be quick if they want a chance of owning one.

For the newly revealed cast/characters, there are two of them. The first is Kouichi Yamadera, the voice behind Ryoga Hibiki in comedy series “Ranma ½” as Desler. In the franchise he is fully known as Abelt Desler and the supreme leader of the Great Garmillas Empire.

Then there Kouki Uchiyama, who is currently playing as Ruth in “The Ancient Magus Bride”, playing the role of Miru. His character is known in the franchise as a political commissar placed aboard Desler’s flagship, he reports to Sabera and her conspirators.

In the fourth film, the story takes focus on the Yamato crew as they suspect that a spy has gotten on board. And while there were able to reach Telezart, their troubles are not over as a defense fleet led by Gorand, as well as survival land war division awaited them.
Premiering in Japan on February 25, the project is a seven-part theatrical anime project. Released on February 25, June 24 and October 14 respectively were the first three parts of the project, “Starting Chapter”, “Departure Chapter” and “Pure Love Chapter.”

Set three years after the Yamato’s return from the planet Iscandar, the Earth has been restored with the Cosmo Reverse System and the people have signed a peace treaty with Garmillas. With the reconstruction of Earth however, a military expansion begins to rise against Starsha Iscandar’s wishes and in a path towards “peace”, much lives were lost. Thus in hope for tranquility in space, the goddess Teresa calls the Yamato to a new voyage. All the while, the threat of Gatlantis is sweeping over the universe and approaching Earth.
