One Piece Holds a Youtube Program For the End of September

The “One Piece” franchise is now making a mark on the Youtube site. For three consecutive days, the franchise will be holding a special program starring the voices behind Usopp, Sanji and Luffy along with an MC.

With a title that basically translates to “This is Usopp in Youtube!”, the program is scheduled to show from September 28 to 30 at 18 o’clock on each day. Also, as the franchise will also be holding a one hour fall special for the latest episodes, there will be a corner of the program taking a look back to previous episodes before the special and a presentation of a live countdown before the special’s debut on October 1.

As stated, 3 of the Strawhat crew will be making their appearance at the program. The voices behind these three characters consist of Kappei Yamaguchi, the voice behind the crew’s top sniper, Usopp, Hiroaki Hirata, the voice of Vinsmoke Sanji, the female loving chef of the crew and Mayumi Tanaka, the voice of the protagonist and captain himself, Monkey D. Luffy.

In the program there will be a discussion/look back to the entire “Whole Cake Island” arc of the franchise, so for those who were not able to catch up but want to see the “Luffy VS Sanji” part of the franchise come to life, will have at least some understanding to the story so far.

With the fall special coming in on October the first, there will be an appearance made ny the animation and editorial staff of the franchise during its first half which will be at 8 o’clock to 9 o’clock. The second part and ending of the special will be from 10 o’clock to 11 o’clock.

To summarize the “Whole Cake Island” otherwise known as the “Sanji Retrieval” arc as a whole, it is the 29th arc of the anime franchise and takes place right after the Zou Arc. The story for this arc takes focus onto Sanji’s story and past while the rest of the Strawhat crew set off to rescue him and face the foreboding Big Mom.

The“One Piece” franchise has been running since 1997 in terms of manga and 1999 in terms of anime. Written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, the series tells of the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who dreams of becoming the pirate king. Sailing the seas with his friends the Straw Hat crew, they are in search of the One Piece, the greatest treasure left behind by Gol D. Roger, the former Pirate King.
