It was announced on Monday by the game publisher PQube that they will be releasing Chaos;Child on October 13 (Europe) and October 24 (North America). The game will be available physically in PlayStation Vita and on the PlayStation 4. Just to give you a gist of what the game is about, PQube released a trailer which you can watch below:
Chaos;Child is a “delusional science adventure” game that is set after a magnitude-7.8 earthquake that happened in Tokyo’s Shibuya ward on November 2009. Created by 5pb, it is the sequel of the “science adventure” game Chaos;HEAd.
Chaos;Child was first released for the Xbox One in 2014. In its first version release, you are able to hear in-game phone calls with the use of the controller. This varies upon releases on other platforms. It was released in Japan 2015 for PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 with an 18+ (Z) rating. The PC version was released last April 2016 and a spinoff fan disc titled Chaos;Child Love chu☆chu!! was also released for the PS Vita and PS4 last March 30.
An anime adaptation of the game aired from January 11 to March 29 with a total of 12 episodes. The unaired episode titled Chaos;Child Silent Sky was screened in Japanese theaters for only two weeks from June 17-30.
If you are looking for a different kind of game to play this year, then Chaos;Child might be a good recommendation for you.
