Publication Days Are Over for Hakusensha's Ane LaLa Magazine 

Hakusensha’s Ane LaLa magazine announces its end as its releases its final October issue for this year on Tuesday. With the end of the magazine also brings the end to a number of series finishing and/or the transferring of others.

“Ane LaLa” is a manga magazine launched in 2013. It aimed towards the “adult girls” demographic and is the big sister to the “LaLa” manga magazine. The magazine ran every 3 months the first time it was released but in 2012 it went to running every two months with around 11 works in total.

Out of the different manga that were running in the magazine, only one will be releasing its final chapter along with the final issue and it is Tomo Matsumoto’s shoujo drama series “Inferno.” Telling the story of reunited siblings, the manga will be making its digital debut in February 2018.

It will not be the only manga that will be having its end as Masami Tsuda’s Hinoko manga will releasing its eighth and final volume in winter.First released in Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine in 2012 the manga moved to Ane Lala in 2015. In the upcoming 2018 Hakunsensha’s Melody magazine, Tsuda will be releasing a new work.

Two other manga series that will be making its way online with new chapters in mid-November is Masami Morio’s “Otona no Kobayashi-kun” and Yaeko Kashi’s “YamaKoi: Yama de Koi wa Umareru ka.”  

While the other series will be making its/continuing on online or simply ending, Ken Saito’s “Kawaii Hito”, Chiaki Karasawa’s “Kaoruko in Wonderland”, and Nari Kusakawa’s “Tokyo Kooni Life” will be moving onto Hakusensha’s LaLa DX. Out of the two mangas, “Kawaii Hito” will be making its debut following first in the January 2018 issues to be released in December.

Hakusensha, fully known as Hakusensha Inc., is a Japanese publishing company founded in December 1973 and based in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Other than releasing manga magazines, the company also works on games, original video animation, music, and their animated TV series.
