Jūni Taisen TV Anime Gains Streaming on Crunchyroll and Voice Actors Hosted at Crunchyroll Expo

A new anime ends up falling under the wing of Crunchyroll’s simulcast and it’s name is “Juuni Taisen” an action series featuring the twelve zodiac animals and a rather intense battle. Confirmed on Saturday by Crunchyroll at its panel at Otakon, the anime will be streamed under the title, “Jūni Taisen: Zodiac War.”
 
Written by NisiOisin and illustrated by Hikaru Nakamura, the series originally began as a light novel series and is set to be released on October 3 at 11:30 p.m.and broadcasted on AT-X before making its way on MBS then Tokyo MX and BS 11.
 
It was in May 2015 that the novel was already released for the series and now coming in on September 23 a manga adaptation of the series will be released by Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ app and website. Also in October, there will a hardcover format to be released by Viz Media as well.

The story of the series tells of 12 warriors burdened with the name of a Zodiac and are in battle with one another for both their prides and the lives and in order for their single wish to be granted.
 
In addition to making it to the Crunchyroll simulcast list, the anime will also be having two of its voice actors, Hiromi Igarashi and Shun Horie being hosted at the Crunchyroll Expo?
 
What is the Crunchyroll Expo? It is the streaming site’s convention where fans of anime from all over can gather together and enjoy three days of exhibits, screenings, panels, and guest appearances by some of the biggest personalities in the US and Japan.

Regarding the cast members making their appearance at the Expo; as stated Hiromi Igarashi is one of them. He is recognized for having played in “Hero Must Die” as Sara, is the voice for Tora a.k.a. Tiger otherwise known as Kanae Aira in the series. With him at the Expo is Shun Horie, the voice actor of Asta in “Black Clover”, who plays as Nezumi a.k.a. Rat, otherwise known as Tsugiyoshi Sumino.

The Expo will be taking place on August 25-27 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
