2 months ago gave reveal to popular action series “One Punch Man” gaining not one but four drama CDs with titles already set for the first CD. Now more details are revealed for the first CD along with comments from the cast themselves.
Making its release on September 27, the first volume has previously been revealed to have three audio dramas within it and now they have been elaborated. For the first drama entitled, ““Saitama, Tekoire Suru (Shores Up)”, Saitama is entrusted with a fan from one of the heroes to a fan and this leads to him to wanting to change his own image and get even more fan letters than even Genos.
“Bonus Chapter: 200 yen”, the second drama of the CD, tells of Saitama when he was just entering into junior high and how he ends up in a in a stroke of bad luck as he ends up encounters a pig monster at the back of the school.
The third and final drama for the CD volume, “Parallel School Drama: Junior High School Student Saitama: Episode 1”, it takes the listener to a completely different world wherein Saitama is a transfer student and her ends up meeting junior high student Genos.
Other than the three dramas, the first volume of the four drama CDs holds a 10 minute cast talk and two inage songs. On the note of cast, when new details on the CD were released, comments from the cast of the CD was also revealed as well.
Makoto Furukawa the voice of Saitama in the audio, expressed of how after so long they felt nostalgic in playing the protagonist and is happy for when the series will start moving once more. Kaito Ishikawa, the voice of Genos, expressed his enthusiasm for the role and stated how he looked forward for the second series for the work.
On Yuki Kaji’s side of things, he stated of how much he enjoyed playing as the ninja character Sonic and relayed on how much difficulty he had on not laughing at certain points during the recording as he considered the character he played as the best point of the work.
