Synopsis
One day, 22-year-old Kanzaki Misuzu awakens to find herself in a completely different world. Not only that, upon finding out that she can open pop-ups with status and information, she has discovered that she has become some sort of RPG magic user. With her knowledge of games and the such, she ventures out into a journey involving knights and monsters and learning more of her abilities.
The Good
This is one of the rare series that takes on the trope of regular person ending up in another world with great powers and places in a girl rather than a boy and that is quite refreshing as most often the girl is not aware of her abilities and starts out as rather hapless and clumsy in the new world in most stories. The plot is interesting enough and the world building is also solid for the most part. The characters were introduced quite nicely and overall the premise is well done and the flow is not entirely bad.
The Bad
When looking at it in general, it seems like a genderbent version of the usual tale and nothing much is new other than the factor that she is a healer rather than a hero type that has been done with male characters and many times before. The art also no stand out and seems in certain parts a little rough around the edges. Basically, when looking at the big picture, the story is qute generic, the characters could have been developed more and the at is pretty generic with rough moments.
Conclusion
It’s refreshing to see that the cliche of a regular person falling into a different world and being powerful being is using a female protagonist rather than the usual male hero who grows into himself like in many others. However, there is also the factor of a character being too overpowered at certain points even with limitations. The mystery factor is always good but with already eight chapters, there could have been better development with the characters and plot as it seems rather generic and a genderbent version of similar stories. Overall it is an interesting tale to check out and a refreshing look into the overused plot of a male hero falling into a different world with grand powers but instead it is a female.
