There are a variety of new anime being or about to be released this summer and the next season. Some works that have been released, many has already been anticipating and
from the very first episode alone one can tell the series is going to bring something good.

However, first impressions are not always great and some viewers may even drop a series because of a bad first impression. Still, while an anime may have a shaky start, that does mean that the rest of the series will be a complete disappointment. For the following listed, these are the types of anime that one could be left on the fence on or could be dropped because something about it did’t appeal to them. But at the same time, these are the anime that may have more to them than what is first seen in a single episode or two.

From mystery to fantasy then mixing with some action and tragedy, it’s a rollercoaster of genres with this series as the story tells of a young man named Tsukishiro Haruto waking up in the mysterious world of dreams where he encounter “witches”, otherwise known as girls struck in certain ways in the real world and ending up in a “Sleeping Beauty” illness where they end up locked away in their dreams. While there may be certain scenes and scenarios that may not be everyone’s cup of tea, there is much unpredictability in this series with just four episodes out that will leave much anticipation.

2. Youkai Apartment no Yuuga na Nichijou

Here is a familiar scenario, a young man is down on his luck when he is offered an opportunity and ends up getting tangled in a completely different world. With this series of a young man getting entanged with the world of youkai, there is much familiar concepts that can be found. But with the way the protagonist is portrayed in handling his situation and how the execution of the series was presented, there is much room for the supernatural work to grown and bring surprises to the table if given a chance.

3. The Reflection

A unique art style, interesting plot and a different take on the usual of anime superheroes, a
series which not only has these but also the iconic Stan Lee’s hand in creating it holds much potential into growing into something more. Though the music may not as great as some other works, the art style is eye catching and memorable and the plot is interesting enough that the viewer would want to know what happens next

4. Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.

The concept of this series is one that has been done many times before but this time with a single twist. True enought the protagonist could use a little more flaws and weaknesses presented, but at the same time this is protagonist that is given a different take in terms of personality and reactions and it is a truly refresing thing to have in a series where many times before the protagonist in a similar type of situation either panics or plots.

5. Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun

If anything this series has the potential to be more of a comedy series rather than a sports series with how moderate the focus is on the sport. Though it does have its moments, one could aso prefer the moments of comedy that bring out the characters. To put it simply, depending on the viewer, one may prefer how the series portrayed the characters’ way of playing the sport or the comedy that happens at the side.
