Speaking of her career as a voice actress, it has also been announced that Yuki Takao will be making her exit from the entertainment business by entering into retirement.
For the second member of the group, illustrator Chamooi, whose name is derived from the cry shouts of Pokemon, “chamooi” and recognized for her pop cute and colorful art. She is responsible for all of the visual illustration for the unit’s songs.
It was in 2013 that the two made their debut with their single, “Sentimental Love” which also served as the opening theme song for the drama comedy series “A Town Where You Live.” At this time, Takao made her debut in this anime as the voice behind Nanami Kanzaki. In the span of their career, the unit has released eight singles and two albums.
A main aspect that this unit is recognized for, is their performance of different anime theme songs. These include the opening themes for the action adventure series, “Blade & Soul”, the college romance series “Nozo × Kimi”, the comedy series “Ane Log”, the supernatural series “Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches”, and finally the slice of life series, “Sweetness & Lightning.” They also performed the second ending theme song for “Akiba’s Trip: The Animation”.
In the announcement, the two expressed their gratitude for all of the support from their friends and staff. What’s more they stated that in their future work, they would still like to express their feelings, but in a different form.
