The Seven Deadly Sins Presents the 10 Commandments in Theaters this January 2018

The Ten Commandments of “Nanatsu no Tazai” are making their debut in the following year. Announced on July 16th at the “Nanatsu no Taizan FES” fan event held in Tokyo, the antagonists of the series will be taking to the screen with the action series’ new season, “The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments” a.k.a. “Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu” coming in January 2018.

Directing the new season is Takeshi Furuta, the episode director of the long running series, “Detective Conan”, and replacing the previous director, Tensai Okumura. Working with him as the assistant director for the series is Tomoya Tanaka, who previously worked as a unit and episode director.

Taking over Shoutarou Suga’s role as series composer is Takao Yohioka, recognized for his work as the series composer of “Your Lie in April.” Kento Toya, the character designer of the comedy action series, “Nanbaka” will be taking on the same role for the new season.

As for the new cast to take part of the series, starring the ten commandments are the following, Yuuki Kaji, the voice of Shouto Todoroki in “My Hero Academia” will be taking on the role of Zeldris. Then there is Hiroki Touchi, who played as Bard in “Black Butler” taking on the role of Estarossa.

Playing as Galand is Hiroshi Iwasaki, recognized for his role as Saito in “Tiger & Bunny.” M.A.O. who is currently taking on the role of Akane Eimura in the comedy series, “Aho-girl”, will be playing as Melascula. Having played the role of Arthur Auguste Angel in “Blue Exorcist” amongst others, Daisuke Ono will be taking on the role of Drole.

Voicing Gloxinia is the voice behind Sekito Kirishima in the rugby anime series, “All Out!” Yuusuke Kobayashi. Kenjio Tsuda, who most recently played as Vinsmoke Yonji in “One Piece”, is acting as the voice of Monspeet. Followed after him is Ayahi Takagaki, the voice actress for Derieri and recognized for her different roles including as Taichi Mashima in “Chihayafuru.”

Koji Yusa, the voice actor for Akira Midousuji in “Yowamushi Pedal” will be playing as Grayroad. FInally, the character Fraudrin will be played Katsuyuki Konishi, the voice of Tatsumi Oga in “Beezlebub.”

Additional cast announced include Tomokazu Sugita, the voice of Joseph Joestar in “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” as Escanor and Rina Satou, the voice of Ema in “Brothers Conflict” as “Matrona.”

The previous cast of the first season will be making their return for the new season and they include:

“Nanatsu no Taiza”, a manga series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki was first launched and serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in October 2012. Currently running with twenty-six tankoubon volumes as of May 17, 2017, the series gained an anime adaptation in October 2014 and ran for a total of 24 episodes with 2 OVAs. The main premise of this story is of a young princess searching for the infamous knight group known as the “Seven Deadly Sins.”
