‘Kantai Collection’ Fan-made Anime Music Video Teased

Back in our younger years, we are often fascinated with people who create their own anime music video (AMVs) of the favorite anime series. The theme of the video would really depend on the music that you use and the message that you want to convey to your viewers. While some people use clips from one anime series, some take their fan-made videos to then next level and create their own.

Two doujin circles named Kinema106 and Chubo no Kobo are working on a Kantai Collection music video featuring the Seaplane Tender ship, Akitsushima. One of the members of group named “Chubo chau yo” released a 12-second teaser of the music video on Twitter. The people who mostly liked and shared the post are mostly those who have played the KanColle browser game. You can check out the video below:

The music used in this video is an original image song created by Kinema 106 titled “Rekka no Suiryoku”. If you want to get the full version, it will be on sale under the title Kan Ani: Kantai Collection Vol. 6 on the upcoming Comic Market 92 in Japan.

This isn’t the first time that the two groups collaborated on a music video. Apparently, they were able to produce Kantai Collection music videos featuring some of the game’s notable characters.

Kantai Collection is a popular browser game produced by Kadokawa and DMM games. In this game, you play the role of an Admiral and it is your duty to complete quests, create “ship girls”, and complete specific events to obtain cool rewards and rankings. An anime adaptation was also produced later on as well as a full-length anime film.
