Cast, Staff, Poster and Trailer are all out for The Bears' School, Tinny Anime Film

The picture books turned anime films, “Kuma no Gakkō” a.k.a. “The Bears’ School” and “Tinny – Fūsen Inu Monogatari” a.ka. “Tinny – Balloon Dog Story” has officially revealed not only a trailer and poster visual, but also a list of main cast, staff and stories as of Monday, on its official website.

Previously revealed to be two films titled “Eiga Kuma no Gakkō: Patissier Jackie to Ohisama no Sweets” a.k.a. “The Bears’ School The Movie: The Patissier Jackie and the Sun’s Sweets” and “Fūsen Inu Tinny: Nandaka Fushigi na Kyōryū no Kuni” a.k.a. “Tinny Ballon Dog: The Somewhat Mysterious Country of Dinosaurs” and will be having a simultaneous debut on August 25; the official website has also revealed an additional note stating that the films’ theme song titled “Sayonara da yo, Mister” a.k.a. “It’s Goodbye, Mister” will be performed by Daisuke Yokoyama.

For the film “Eiga Kuma no Gakkō: Patissier Jackie to Ohisama no Sweets” a.k.a. “The Bears’ School The Movie: The Patissier Jackie and the Sun’s Sweets”, it will be featuring not only original characters from the book but original characters for the film as well.

The story tells of a bear named Jackie and how she ate everyone’s sweets by herself. After angering her brothers Jackie ends up meeting apprentice pâtissier Mindy and decides to join her in learning under her grandmother, the pâtissier at the Sweets Land sweet shop. But in the midst of this sweet filled path, there lurks a plot boiling by the head of the village to take over Sweets Land.

Directing the film is Tetsuro Koroda, who worked as a CGI Driector for the magical girl group series “Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode” and will be working at BN Pictures. Working on the script is Hiroyuki Aihara, the original creator of the “Fanny and Melanie” special. Kaori Hino, recognized to have worked on the “Ancien and the Magic Tablet” film will be working as the art director script and lastly, Masashi Hamauzu, the composer for the “ClassicalLoid” series music will be composing for the film.

Prior to the film, the Kuma no Gakkō book series, which was first launched in 2002 as a creation of artist-writer team, Nami Adachi and Hiroyuki Aihara under the publisher and Bronze Publishing Inc. a.k.a “Bronze Shinsha”, has already gained a film entitled “The Bears’ School” anime film in 2010, as well as the “Ganbare! Lulu Lolo – Tiny Twin Bears” television anime series with three seasons. On that note, aside from Masashi, the listed staff are also known to have worked on either film or series.

“The Tinny – Fūsen Inu Monogatari” book series, which was respectively written and drawn by Genki Kawamura and Kenjirō Sano too gained an anime series with two seasons which aired on NHK in September 2014 and 2015. The only noted members of the staff who worked on the series is director Daiki Inaba who will be working at Craftar along with Kimiko Ueno as the script writer.

As for the other staff members, there will a total of five producers comprised of Hiroshi Sakai, Yōsuke Ōmomo, Mai Matsumura, and Mariko Tokunaga. Composing the music for the film is Shojiro Nakaoka, the sound director for the “Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children” film.

The tale of the film tells of Tinny and Nitty were one day playing in the park when a balloon egg suddenly fell from the sky. From this egg hatched a dinosaur dubbed “Torii” who deems the pair as their parents. Deciding to search for the baby dinosaur’s real parents whom are said to be located in the world of balloon dinosaurs which lies through golden cumulonimbus clouds.

Tinny and friends set course for this world above clouds and along the way they are able the reunite with forgetful Rabby and other companions. With the help of new balloon dinosaur friends the group are able to locate Torri’s home, the country of the Triceratops. But upon their arrival, not only do they not find the baby dinosaur’s parents but they also discover that various dinosaur eggs have been stolen as well.

On another note for the films, figure skater and actress Honda will be performing the chorus of the theme song.
