Main Maid Trio and 1st PV Released for Blend S TV Anime

As of Sunday, the three-main cast has been revealed for the upcoming anime adaptation of the four-panel manga by Miyuki Nakayama, “Blend S” with a streaming of its first promotional video posted on the official website of the series.

Slated to arrive in October, the manga series which the series is based on was first launched in 2013 as a guest series in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine. It was in 2014 that author Nakayama launched the work as a regular series. As of January 27, there are three volumes for the series.

The staff whom are working on the production of the series comprise of the following people:

The story of the series tells of a young girl named Maika. She wishes to work at a café where each worker is given a certain attribute for the job such as “tsundere” or “little sister.” When she applies for the job she is tasked by the manager to take of a “Do S” or extreme sadist persona. Now she not only has to learn the ropes of the job but she has to learn to adopt a dominant and aggressive persona.

As for the main cast, taking part as the main protagonist of the series, Maika Sakuranomiya is Azuma Waki the voice of Eri Higuchi in the slice of life series “Anime De Training! Ex.” Her character is described as a young girl who dreams to one day study abroad. When she had gone for her interview at café Stile she had worried that she had failed due to having an unpleasant look in her eyes. But on the contrary, she was hired by the shop manager and was given the title of “Do S” (extreme sadist) waitress.

Akari Kitou, the voice of Suzune Horikita in “Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu e” is playing as the popular high schooler Kaho Hinata. She is described as a blonde haired, blue eyed girl who wears he hair in pigtails and works at Stile. Holding the title of the tsundere waitress, she may seem like a regular popular girl taking on certain role, but in truth she loves video games and has trouble keeping a budget.

Lastly, playing as Mafuyu Hoshikawa is Anzu Haruno, who will also be playing the role Moka Gotou for the newest sovver anime “Cleanliness Boy! Aoyama-kun.” While her character may appear young, she is actually a college student who is working at Stile as a “little sister” waitress. In reality however, she is a calm young woman who loves children’s anime and takes he work as a “little sister” type very seriously
