Coming this July, a "Yuri!!! On Ice" Summer Festival and Musuem

The ever growing franchise that is “Yuri!!! On Ice” has just been revealed to have a new event for fans to enjoy coming this July at an event held at Makuhari Messe and Tokyo Tower Records Shibuya store in Chiba.

The event which is titled “SUMMER STATION Yuri !!! on FESTIVAL” is a satellite project to the larger event that is “TV Asahi, Roppongi Hills Summer Festival SUMMER STATION” which will be held on July 15 to August 27.

Starting on July 16, to be held at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 1, 2, 3 located in Chiba, there are many features to enjoy at the upcoming festival, such as watching the screenings of the anime. One of the main features to enjoy is the appearance of the main cast of the series on stage to conduct a script reading. Once more, the fans can enjoy the performance of:

Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Yuuri Katsuki
Junichi Suwabe as Victor Nikiforov
Kouki Uchiyamaas Yuuri Plisetsky

More than the cast making a stage performance, there is also the appearance of the staff to look forward to, specifically writer Mitsurou Kubo’s, as it has been noted that she will be conducting a talk show wherein she will be revealing future details on the franchise.

Pre-order ticket sales for the festival has started on June 7 and can be purchased at Lawson Tickets. Ticket sales for general seats start on July 1 at 10 0’clock and prices start at 9000 yen for the S area and 7500 yen for the A area.

But wait, there’s more, it is also announced that on July 21 at one of the branches of the Tower Records Shibuya store, an exhibition titled “Yuri !!! on MUSEUM” will be held. It will be featuring recreated displays of costumes, skates of the characters and sets along with posts of original illustrations and a voiced guide of original scripts with the voices of the cast.

As an added bonus, fans will also have a chance to purchase limited goods at the exhibition, but details on this are yet to be revealed.

Advanced ticket sales for this exhibition will start on June 10 at 10 o’clock with a going rate of 1000. General tickets are at a price of 1300 and both ticket types can be bought at Lawson Tickets.
