The official Love Live! website on Saturday released an advisory informing the public to be careful of purchasing unlicensed Love Live! School Idol Project and Love Live! Sunshine!! merchandise. The staff is now doing what they can to track those who sell bootlegs of their official merchandise from events to online shops. Below contains the official statement in Japanese as well as the English translation.

警察による度重なる摘発にもかかわらず、残念ながら『ラブライブ！』『ラブライブ！サンシャイン!!』の著作権を侵害する商品がイベントや通販サイトを通じて販売・配布されたり、またはアミューズメント施設の景品とされる事例が後を絶ちません。
これからも、著作権侵害に対しては厳しく対処し、悪質な侵害については刑事告訴をも辞さない方針を継続していきます。
ファンの皆さまにおかれましては、これらの無許諾違法グッズをお手にとることのないよう、お願い致します。
