A New Key Visual and Main Staff is Revealed for Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles

Another sneak peek on what to expect with the upcoming anime that is “Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san” a.k.a. “Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles” is revealed as of Friday as the official website releases not only a new key visual but a list of main staff to work on the production as well.

Created by Naru Narumi, who worked on the story and art for both “Zettai Joō Sei” and “Tokyo Innocent”, the gourmet comedy series was first published in 2013 in Takeshobo’s Manga Life Storia magazine. Currently there are five volumes, the fifth having just been released on March 30 and prior to the announcement of the anime adaptation, there were already two other adaptations to the series.

In 2015 there was a release of a live-action series which reached around 4 episodes. In January and December 2016, there were a New Year’s and New Year’s Eve Specials respectively.

The story of the series tells of a high school girl named Koizumi, she is admired by many and considered as a “cool beauty” at first glance. However, what many do not know, is there is another side to this perceived “cool girl.” In truth, Koizumi loves ramen, a lot; from waiting in long lines since early morning to being able to consume an extra-large helping by herself, this is a girl who not only loves ramen but is an expert of the dish.

Directing this series is Kenji Seto, he worked as a storyboard artist and episode director for a variety of works including the comedic “Hayate the Combat Butler!!” and the sci-fi series “(The) Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water.”

The production of the series will be taking place at Studio Gokumi, which is also known as Studio Group 5. It was established in May 2010 and is known to have produced different series such as the 2013 series “Kin-iro Mosaic” and most recently “Tsurezure Children.”

Working on the series composition is Tatsuya Takahashi, who is working on the series composition of the most recent comedy series “Eromanga Sensei.” Last but not least, designing the characters is Takuya Tani, the character designer for the “Kōkaku no Pandora” special.

Currently there is no details in regards to the cast that will be playing in the anime adaptation.
