Over the past few years up to this point, millions of viewers hastily looked for new ways to entertain themselves.
As of Tuesday, with a live stream release by the EXIT TUNES’ Line Live account, details on the cast, theme songs and debut date have been revealed for the upcoming fantasy series titled, “In Another World With My Smartphone” a.k.a Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni”
The series was first launched in 2013 and is a creation of Patora Fuyuhara; it falls under the fantasy genre and takes on the theme of a regular person falling in another world with a twist. The protagonist for this tale is an average 15-year-old high school boy named Mochizuki Touya. One day for no reason whatsoever, he is struck by lightning and perishes.
When he awakens, he is met with Kami who informs him that the lightning strike was an accident and that he wishes to apologize. To make his amends Kami offers Touya a chance to be reborn into a completely different world and he will grant the young man one wish. Touya takes the chance and chooses to take a piece of technology; and that is a smartphone.
Now he is placed in a fantasy realm of an old civilization, wielding an item that is surely to cause quite some chaos.
The series is set to make its debut on July 11 and the opening theme titled “Another World" Is a contribution by AŌP.
Set to play as this phone wielding protagonist is Katsumi Fukuhara, recognized for having a role in the historical film “Miss Hokusai.”
Playing as one of the many females in the group, Elze Silhoueska, is Maaya Uchida, the voice of Wakana Morizuna in the “Pretty Rhythm All Star Selection: Prism Show Best Ten” film.
Yui Fukuo, who plays as Rika Hayase in “Time Travel Girl” is playing as Linze Silhoueska for the series.
Recognized for playing as Izumi Hashima in the latest anime, “Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Flat”, Chinatasu Akasaki is taking the role of Yae Kokonoe.
Voicing the character Yumina Urnea Belfast is the voice behind the character Niwaka Denkigai in “Akiba’s Trip: The Animation”, Marika Kouno.
The character Sushie Urnea Ortlinde is being played by Nanami Yamashita, the voice actress for the character Chifuyu Himeki in “When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace.”
Taking the role of the character Leen is Sumire Uesaka, the voice of Chizuru in “Hand Shakers.”
Last but not least to be revealed in the cast is Yuki Kaida, the voice of China in “Hetalia – Axis Powers”, as the small white tiger like creature Kohaku.
On another note, while this character is yet to have a voice actor to play their role, there is an image and name for this character and it is Paula.
