In two to three days’ time, the English-subtitled version of the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise’s fourth film “Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions” will be released to number of theatres in the United States. Prior to this release however, over 500 theatres located in the United States and Canada screened the English dub version of the film.
Directed by the man who worked on the films “Dr. Pinoko no Mori no Bōken” and “Astro-boy: Shinsen Gumi”, Satoshi Kuwabara, the film takes on an original story featuring the rival pair of the series, Seto Kaiba and Yugi Muto and takes place after the events of the manga. Originally the film premiered in Japan on April 23 and screened on over 137 screens, eventually earning up to 1 billion yen (about US$9 million.
Now Eleven Arts has released a list of the different locations where the subbed film will be released. It is to be noted though that a number of the locations will also be having the dubbed version of the film for screening as well. The following locations are:
