See the major stars of the Weekly Shōnen Jump’s most popular works for a spectacular summer event known as the “Universal Jump Summer”, which will be spanning from June 20 up to October 01. For these 94 days, Universal Studios Japan and Shueisha teams up once more to bring fans and visitors to the fantastical worlds within the popular shounen magazine, including the long time running series “One Piece” and “Dragon Ball”
For this year, the event adds two more of the magazine’s popular works; the comedic “Ginatama” and the surreal “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures” are chosen to join the line-up. On another note, in celebration of the 10th anniversary, the “One Piece Premier Show”, a live stage attraction the performance of the characters of the series, shall be having one of its biggest performances of this year.
Further details on the upcoming celebration can be found at the event pageopened on the official website of the park. For those who want to have a chance to join the celebration, advanced ticket sales begin on April 24 while general sales will begin on May 11.
In additional news, with how Universal Studios Japan’s Shonen Jump Summer rides broke records with attractions from popular works like Haikyu!!, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Death Note, Boruto, and My Hero Academia in the previous year, the theme park aims to do even better this year by adding and instalment that will be focused on more of the popular series from the well-known shounen magazine.
Joining the series line-up to get attractions is the iconic series “Dragon Ball”, the pirate adventure series “One Piece”, the comedic “Gintama” and the surreal series that is “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures” starting on June 30. As of the moment there is no details given in regards to the plan for the upcoming attractions.
Currently, visitors can enjoy the theme parks “Cool Japan” attractions which includes the “Attack on Titan The Real,” the theme park’s second Attack on Titan 4-D movie, The Godzilla the Real 4D attraction, a Detective Conan escape game, Monster Hunter the Real, and the Evangelion XR Ride.
