As the series of super powered beings and finding’s one strength “Boku no Hero Academia’s” second season begins, new details continue to come out in regards to what may happen for the series’ new season. This time, the official website of the series has announced that the expected number of episodes are to be a total of 25 with a total runtime equivalent to two cour (half of a year) of weekly episodes as listed by French anime publisher Kaze.
From what previous reports have stated, the new season is to be centred on the fifth story arch of the series, the U.A. Sports Festival Arc, which in the manga, began in chapter 22. For this arc, the freshman shall have a chance to showcase their abilities in different competitions in order to catch the attention of pro heroes, similar to how athletes perform in order to catch the attention of scouts.
As of the moment, only one episode is out for the new season, the next episode is set to arrive on April 8.
