Sanrio Celebrates Cinnamoroll Character's 15th Anniversary at Toei Kyoto Studio Park

Come join a celebration of one of the characters of the Cinnamoroll series with their 15th anniversary event Cinnamoroll Fuwamoko Party"a.k.a. “Cinnamoroll Fluffy-Furry Party.”

The event is to be held at the historical movie themed amusement park, Toei Kyoto Studio park, where actual jidaigeki (a genre of media works literally translating to “period dramas”) films are shot and is located in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.

For the series that’s main character alter ego is found, its story begins with the owner of a café named Café Cinnamon one day encountering white puppy that looked like a small fluffy cloud as it came floating by the café.

Apparently the white puppy had caught scent of the café’s cinnamon rolls and become curious. Soon enough the white puppy takes a shine to not only the sweet pastry but the café owner as well.

With his plump tail curled up like cinnamon roll, the white puppy gains the name Cinnamon and as a popular figure with the customers, Cinnamon becomes the official mascot to the café. Now he spends his days either relaxing at the café or having new and different adventures alongside his friends who are Chiffon a tomboyish, fluffy-eared puppy with a dream to one day become an Olympic gold medalist.

The “big sister” and stylish chatterbox of the group Mocha. Expresso, an intelligent and well-bred pup of an actress and movie director with a talent for drawing, painting and music. Cappuccino, a glutton with a love for bug catching and a mouth that resembles a cup. And last but not least, the baby of the group, Little Milk, easily recognized by a single curl on top of his head an his most precious treasure, a blue pacifier.

The event which began on March 18 and will run until May 14 features an exhibit, games, a photo spot and original merchandise such as plush versions of the protagonist to purchase. In addition to this, visitors to the park may also have a chance of catching a glimpse Cinnamon’s samurai alter ego Shinagawa Monjirou around the area.
