Six-Film Finale for ‘Girls & Panzer’ Anime to Begin on December 9!

It has finally come to this— it was announced at the Oarai Spring Festival: Kairaku Festa 2017 on Sunday that the first of six episodes of Girls und Panzer das Finale anime will open in over 59 cinemas in Japan on December. The tagline in the released teaser visual reveals that the series is now reaching its end in six parts.

Plans of 4DX and MX4D screenings are also in the works and will be done after the regular screenings of the second episode. The six episodes are divided into three sets: the first screening will have episode one and two, the next one will be episode three and four, and last set will have episode five and six.

Aside from promotions of the upcoming anime project, the staff is also planning to have “Girls und Panzer der Film Cinematic Concerts” which will play footages of the 2015 film along with a live orchestra by The Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. This event is slated to happen on June 25 at the Omiya Sonic City Hall which will then follow on July 9 at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall.
