‘Killing Bites’ Manga Now Green Lit for an Anime Adaptation!

It was confirmed on Wednesday that Kazasa Sumita and Shinya Murata’s manga series Killing Bites manga is now green lit for an anime adaptation. The announcement was revealed in the April issue of Monthly Hero’s Magazine. A Twitter account and official website were created for the franchise. Sumita and Murata are the series’ illustrator and storywriter respectively. The former is known for illustrating Witchblade Takeru.

Earlier this week, the Japanese online retailer 7net released a preview of the cover which featured the anime announcement. To those who are not familiar with the manga, here’s a little synopsis of the manga as described by Monthly Hero’s English website:

Killing Bites are underworld duels between human-animal hybrids.
One beast who knows no fear will fight in this animalistic world full of fear and insanity.
This ultimate battle of the beasts will shock you to your core!

Although there is still no confirmed date for this anime, let’s hope that we get to watch this very soon!
