In case you missed it, Yayoiso’s ReLIFE manga is getting its own live-action film adaptation which is slated to premiere in Japanese theaters on April 15. The official website of the movie released another preview which features the ending song performed by Sonoko Inoue titled “Sakura”. Taishi Nakagawa (playing Arata in the live-action film) performs the rap part of the song. You can watch the preview below:
Just to give you a synopsis of the story, ReLIFE is centered on Arata Kaizaki, a 27-year-old who is unemployed and was no longer given any financial support from his parents. While being invited to go drinking with his high school friend, he meets a man named Ryo Yoake who gives him pills that would turn him back into a 17-year-old to redo his life. Since this worked for him, he goes to high school and then he meets a socially awkward Chizuru Hishiro, a girl who wishes to have good friends around her. With a one-year time limit, Arata must do what he can to live a happy life and do things for the better not only for himself but also the people around him.
We hope that this movie will be released in theaters outside Japan soon.
