"Mankind's Worst Enemy" Teased in 'Space Battleship Yamato 2202' Anime Ad

The first of the seven parts of the theatrical anime Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love will be released in Japan on February 25. On Saturday, its official website had uploaded a TV ad which features a “mysterious message that reaches Earth” and “mankind’s worst enemy”. You can check out the TV ad below:

Set three years after the return of the Yamato from Iscandar in the year 2202, citizens worked together to restore the planet with the Cosmo Reverse System. At the same time, have signed a peace treaty with Garmillas. Aside from the restoration, Earth created a new defense fleet which includes Andromeda, a state-of-the-art battleship. Despite Starsha Iscandar’s wishes, the planet went into military expansion. It is up to the Yamato to accomplish this so-called peace but of course it comes with a lot of sacrifices.
